Phllip Morris is a successful rock photographer whose extensive archive image library of Austrailian rock music is simply incomparable. From his first job as a contributor to the Australia’s first pop publication “Go Set” in the late 1960s he has gone from strength to strength. Before long, Morris was contributing to major Australian magazines including “RAM” and “Juke” where he shot Australia’s hit band the Easybeats on their last national tour. His reputations escalated as did his famed subjects, by this point he was photographing almost every international band touring in the 70s including The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney and AC/DC’s first ever photo session in 1974.
